About the Role

High Impact Academic Coaching Ltd. provides bespoke, 1:1 academic support to young people with SEND who may require personalised learning pathways, structured routine, and continuous engagement.

We are currently seeking teachers who can deliver Maths and/or English tuition on an individual basis to learners in Rochester. Students may be disengaged, out of mainstream settings, or working towards re-establishing progress.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Plan sessions tailored to individual learning needs
  • Support academic development and confidence
  • Provide consistent weekly sessions
  • Record attendance, progress and outcomes in line with our reporting expectations

Hours will be arranged based on student allocation and tutor availability.

Who We're Looking For

Ideal candidates will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

UK residency and ability to deliver sessions in person

Experience supporting SEND learners or a genuine willingness to adapt

A patient, supportive and commitment-led approach

Strong communication and reliability

Safeguarding & Compliance

As an organisation operating under safer recruitment principles, we follow statutory guidance outlined within Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).

Applicants will be required to:

  • Complete an Enhanced DBS check (barred-list included where relevant)
  • Provide verified ID and relevant qualifications
  • Supply references prior to starting
  • Participate in mandatory safeguarding induction

All successful candidates must read and adhere to KCSIE Part 1 and maintain our safeguarding standards at all times.
