Manor House Care Home is a large, privately-owned residence divided into several specialist units, offering tailored care for up to 125 residents. We take pride in providing high-quality Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care in a warm, supportive environment where both residents and staff can flourish.
We are now looking for a dedicated and reliable Domestic Assistant to join our housekeeping team. In this vital role, you will help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that supports the comfort and wellbeing of our residents. Your attention to detail and commitment to high hygiene standards will make a real difference every day.
What We Offer
- £12.21 per hour
- 28 hours per week (rota over 7 days)
- Paid DBS, Pension scheme, Uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
Your Role
As a Domestic Assistant, you will play an essential part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the care home. You will clean residents' rooms, communal areas and sanitary facilities to a professional standard, ensuring that all areas are safe, hygienic and comfortable. You will also help with laundry services, handle personal belongings with care, and support infection prevention and control procedures at all times. Working closely with your colleagues, you will contribute to a warm, welcoming atmosphere that helps residents feel truly at home.
What We're Looking For
- A reliable and hardworking attitude with strong attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Ability to follow infection control and health and safety procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience in a domestic, housekeeping or cleaning role is desirable but not essential
