We have a fantastic opportunity for a Working Site Supervisor to join our Infrastructure Division. Positions are Site-based and will travel around from project to project. This could be in the UK or overseas.

Our Nuclear & Infrastructure division has extensive experience in the specialist, highly regulated nuclear, transport (road and rail), process industries and power and energy sectors. Providing award winning design teams, utilising state-of-the-art design software and Tekla detailing facilities to offer customers value engineering. This gives a mix of proven success along with modern, innovative design and fabrication ideas to be able to provide a quality, specialised service to a growing market. They continue to set the

Vacancy Details

In the Working Site Supervisor position, you will effectively ensure sute activities are conducted safely and effectively, consistent with company procedures, good practice and statutory legislation.

You will assist the site manager with coordination of erection, remedial, painting, and decking teams to achieve programme & sequence, ensuring permits, risk assessments and method statements, temporary working procedures are adhered to.

You will also be expected to assist the site teams to erect the steel where required.

Other Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Ensure compliance with the company operating procedures, company quality assurance procedures, statutory safety legislation, good practice, and our contractual responsibilities.
• To read & understand the company's site specific safety method statement & risk assessments, and ensure its provisions are being carried out effectively.
• Ensure all labour is adequately trained for the task, and liaise with SHE teams as necessary.
• Ensure employees are being put to work safely, and carry our regular reviews of task briefings
• Manage & monitor the progress of site activities and take action to ensure progressive deadlines are met in accordance with requirements.
• Monitor labour levels and engineering resource each task abd keep to an effective and efficient level, raising closely with site management team.
• Ensure records are being kept and issues to the site management team for all VQ/NCR work.
• Drive & deliver continual improvement on site, with focus on safety.
• Support the management team with management of specialist subcontractors
• Ensure site management teams are kept informed of all day-to-day site progress and issues.

Key Skills & Experience

• CSCS Gold Card
• NVQ L3 minimum (L4 in site supervision)
• SSSTS/SMSTS
• First Aid
• CPCS Slinger Signaller, CPCS Crane Supervisor, CPCS MEWP and or IPAF 3A+ & 3B+
• Basket to Basket rescue
• Fire Marshal training
• Manual handling, harness & torque wrench training
• Bolting competency L1 &; L2
• Hand tools and remedial training
• Reverse vehicle banksman training
• MEWP for managers
• Temporary Works Supervisor
• NCR training
• Accident & investigation training

Bespoke Severfield training will be arranged for Seversafe fans, edge protection & offload and collumn rearing pads as required.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Steel construction, and experience leading your own teams' erection or wrap-up.
