The Role
As a Senior ILS Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be at the heart of one of the UK's most advanced defence programmes - Skynet. You'll apply your expertise in Integrated Product Support (IPS) and Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) to ensure our cutting-edge communications systems are supported throughout their lifecycle. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on national security while advancing your career in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

Day-to-day you'll be:

• Conducting Supportability Analysis and recording outcomes in the LSAR database
• Maintaining supportability plans and delivering monthly performance reports
• Creating supportability cases for new technologies and system upgrades
• Collaborating with engineering, supply chain, commercial, and project management teams
• Ensuring consistency and quality across system updates and support documentation

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements and is adaptable and can be delivered from various locations including any of our Bristol, Hawthorn and Oakhanger sites.

Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. Essential Experience Of The Senior ILS Engineer

• Practitioner-level experience in Supportability Analysis and LSAR data input
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of ILS/IPS requirements across the product lifecycle

Qualifications For The Senior ILS Engineer

• Degree or equivalent in Engineering
• HNC/HND with relevant experience is also valued and welcome

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
