Experis is seeking a
Configuration Engineering Manager
to lead a high-performing team supporting cutting-edge defence programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape configuration strategy, drive delivery, and make a real impact in a mission-critical environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead with purpose
    – Manage and mentor a talented team of engineers, fostering innovation, safety, and growth.
  • Shape the future
    – Define and drive configuration strategy across high-profile defence programmes.
  • Solve complex challenges
    – Be the go-to expert for lifecycle configuration, from design through in-service support.
  • Make your mark
    – Influence engineering strategy, improve processes, and ensure compliance with key defence standards like Def Stan
  • Collaborate to win
    – Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical solutions on time and within budget.
  • Champion excellence
    – Lead audits and continuous improvement initiatives that raise the bar for engineering delivery.

What We're Looking For:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven background in defence, maritime, or aerospace
  • Strong grasp of lifecycle Configuration Management
  • Experience tailoring config models for design, software, and data
  • Confident leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
