Venn Group is delighted to be recruiting for a Content Editor to provide temporary support within a leading not-for-profit organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Marketing team during a period of transformation, as the organisation refreshes its website and enhances usability for its members.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Copyedit technical reports, research briefs, and product overviews, ensuring clarity, consistency, and adherence to house style and branding guidelines
- Proofread and provide the final quality check for documents prior to publication
- Deliver structural editing, copyediting, and formatting support, occasionally writing long-form content
- Champion accessible text and mentor technical authors to consider end-user needs
- Collaborate effectively with subject-matter experts, senior stakeholders, and industry partners to produce clear, relevant, and user-friendly content
Ideal candidate profile:
- Proven experience in copyediting and proofreading technical documentation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
- Skilled in applying editorial standards and improving content usability
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and familiar with editorial workflows
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Flexible and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
