As a Assistant Community Manager, you'll be right at the heart of our residential community in Manchester, supporting the Community Manager with day-to-day operations, resident engagement, and team leadership. You'll play a key role in creating a smooth, enjoyable experience for residents while helping the team run the building efficiently and safely.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Resident Support:
Oversee move-ins, move-outs, and evictions, process maintenance requests, schedule inspections, and maintain accurate resident records. You'll help ensure residents feel cared for every step of the way.
- Resident Engagement:
Be the friendly face of our community Welcome new residents, organise events, encourage use of communal spaces, and respond to feedback and complaints to continuously improve the resident experience.
- Building Operations:
Support the Community Manager in the smooth running of the building, monitor PPM schedules, conduct site audits, and maintain amenities to a high standard.
- Pool and Facilities Management:
Assist the leisure team in maintaining pool operations, ensure compliance with safety regulations, coordinate contractors, and respond to resident concerns.
- People Leadership
Manage the on-site housekeeping and building services teams, oversee rotas, coach and develop staff, and promote a positive, high-performing workplace.

From supporting resident events to managing inspections, maintenance requests, and team rotas, you'll help keep the building running effortlessly and ensure every resident feels cared for.
What we're looking for:
- Experience in an operational role, preferably in residential property
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
- People management experience and ability to lead by example
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems (training provided)
- Positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
- Calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence
