Civil Engineer

Our client is currently looking for a Civil Engineer to join them at their facility in Plymouth. They design, manufacture and install thermoplastic and advanced composite solutions. This is for a range of industries including oil and gas, rail, waste water and naval applications. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leading business and develop your practical engineering design experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
o Provide Engineering support across Structural/ Civil Engineering including rebar calculations and schedules, Finite Element Analysis, Piping System Design and Product Innovation as an engineer;
o Draft Designs as required for review by the ESM;
o Under the direction of the ESM correct Designs for Client review;
o Draft Technical Documentation for ESM approval;
o Complete px Software, Technical and General training as required.
o Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager.

Qualifications:
BEng in a civil engineering discipline or equivalent.
Experience in concrete/ rebar calculations in civil applications.
Must be computer literate.
Experience in 3D CAD e.g. Autodesk inventor.
