We are looking forward to Wellcome experienced MOT Tester/ Vehicle technician to join our team in a popular local MOT and repair centre based in Central Worthing.

We are a well established family run business, looking to grow our friendly team in timely manner. The company is customer focused and pride themselves on their honesty and integrity, which must be mirrored by the applicant.

The site has 1 MOT testing lane and 5 repair ramps to accommodate high demand. In the workshop we carry out MOTs, servicing, mechanical repairs, welding, diagnostic, Air Con re-gas, tyres and more.

The successful candidates will be expected to be predominantly in the workshop, carry out MOT's to the Ministries exacting standards. Also helping team with mechanical jobs, including carrying out servicing, diagnostic, vehicle repairs including clutch and cam belt replacement.

We are looking for motivated and driven applicants to join our team and help grow the business by providing quality servicing and repair work, and honest vehicle reporting and Testing.

The applicant should have a minimum of 1 year experience and be atleast level 3 qualified technician.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct MOT tests on vehicles in accordance with regulatory standards

- Inspect vehicles for safety and emissions compliance

- Identify and document any defects or issues found during the test

- Provide accurate and detailed reports on test results

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

- Previous experience as an MOT Tester is required

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems

- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools

- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and software is a plus

Skills:

- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues

- Good communication skills to interact with customers and explain test results
