We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors. You'll provide personalised
1:1
support in
GCSE Maths and English
. These in-person sessions in
Enfield
offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.

  • This job is in person in the Enfield area
  • Hours: 2 hours per week (with potential to increase)
  • Day(s): Tuesday - Thursday
  • Time(s): during school hours
  • Subject and Level: GCSE Maths or English
  • Start date: Immediate start
  • Rate of pay: £30ph

What You'll Do

  • Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals needs and study level
  • Plan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of the student
  • Provide targeted support for students with SEN
  • Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Monitor progress, produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomes
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in
  • Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager

Requirements
We're looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Specialist SEN training
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Experience working withs students with cognitive learning difficulties
  • 3+ years of tutoring / teaching experience
  • An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The right to be self employed in the UK
