Catering Assistant – West Earlham Infant & Primary School

£12.21/hour

10 hours per week

Monday to Friday, 11:30am-1:30pm

The opportunity:

  • Permanent, Part-time
  • 10 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday 11:30am to 1:30pm

This is a term-time only position, working 38 weeks per year, offering you a great work-life balance*.* Your pay will be pro rata, you will receive 1/12th of your salary every month, regardless of whether its school holidays or not

A day in the life:

You will become an integral part of the school team, supporting with the preparation and serving of lunches for young people and school staff, ensuring an engaging and interactive experience for all.

Upholding our high level of hygiene and cleanliness is vital which includes setting up service areas from the kitchen or dining areas, so they are ready to enjoy mealtimes and tidying away once service is completed.

About you:

If you have previous catering experience, then we would love to hear from you.

However, we have worked hard to create an extensive induction and excellent training programmes that means if you enjoy home cooking and baking and have a passion for good food, we can help you learn to adapt to a commercial catering environment

All salaries for part-time positions are worked out pro-rata of the full-time equivalent salary shown in the advert, calculated on your contracted hours per week.

An enhanced DBS check will be required for our successful candidate, payment will be met by the employer.
