London, Greater London, United Kingdom Ōura Full time

Our mission at Oura is to empower every person to own their inner potential. Our award-winning products help our global community gain a deeper knowledge of their readiness, activity, and sleep quality by using their Oura Ring and its connected app. We've helped 2.5 million people understand and improve their health by providing daily insights and practical steps to inspire healthy lifestyles.

Empowering the world starts with living our values and empowering our team. As a quickly growing company focused on helping people live healthier and happier lives, we ensure that our team members have what they need to do their best work — both in and out of the office.

We're looking for a driven and collaborative European Communications Manager to lead Oura's communications efforts across the region. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious comms professional to elevate one of the world's most innovative health tech brands.

You'll work closely with the International Communications Lead to execute high-impact communications programs that grow brand awareness and strengthen Oura's reputation across Europe. While this is an execution-led role, you'll be a key voice in shaping how Oura shows up in European markets — helping localize global narratives and bring our mission to life in ways that resonate culturally and emotionally.

Due to the nature of the job you should be willing and able to travel for up to 20% of your working time.

What You'll Do
  • Comms Leadership: Manage communications activity in key European markets, ensuring alignment with global strategy and brand objectives.
  • Agency Management: Hold relationships with local agency partners, driving clear priorities, accountability, and excellence in execution.
  • Localized Storytelling: Partner with the global comms team to craft and deliver compelling, regionally relevant campaigns and content that elevate Oura's brand and mission.
  • Media & Influencer Relations: Build and nurture strong relationships with influential media, creators, analysts, and thought leaders to drive meaningful coverage and awareness.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, retail, and commercial teams to ensure message consistency and integrated storytelling across touchpoints.
  • Content Creation: Write, edit and localise press materials, messaging documents, and internal content that reflect Oura's voice and adapt to local context.
  • Spokesperson Briefing & Staffing: Prepare and support company spokespeople for interviews, speaking engagements, and key events.
  • Event Support: Manage Oura's presence at key regional events, sponsorships, press launches, and influencer activations, ensuring best-in-class brand experiences.
  • Market Monitoring: Track trends, competitor activity, and media sentiment to identify opportunities for proactive storytelling.
  • Reporting: Measure and report on campaign performance, using insights to refine and optimize future efforts.
What We're Looking For
  • 6-8 years' experience in communications, ideally within consumer tech or lifestyle brands.
  • Proven success in building brand awareness across multiple markets.
  • Strong understanding of media relations and storytelling within a European context.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Experience managing or collaborating with agencies and cross-functional partners.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments; proactive, organized, and adaptable.
  • Additional European languages are a plus.
Why Join Oura?
  • Impact: A rare opportunity to help shape how millions of people think about health, wellbeing, and technology.
  • Growth: Exposure to global campaigns and cross-functional teams, with room to grow into a regional leadership role and/or expand market ownership.
  • Culture: A mission-driven, collaborative, and inclusive team that celebrates creativity and curiosity.
  • Perks: Every employee receives an Oura Ring, flexible working options, wellness days, wellness budgets, and discounts for friends and family.
