Part-Time Maintenance Team Member - 16 hours per week

At ibis Styles Glasgow Central, we pride ourselves on creating a fun, welcoming and memorable experience for every guest. We're now looking for a
hands-on, reliable Maintenance Team Member
to help keep our hotel looking great and running smoothly.

What You'll Do

  • Carry out day-to-day maintenance tasks across the hotel, including basic plumbing, painting, joinery, and minor repairs
  • Complete daily checks to ensure all equipment, fixtures and fittings are safe and in good working order
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and the team
  • Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
  • Keep back-of-house areas tidy and compliant with health & safety standards
  • Work closely with the management and housekeeping teams to resolve issues quickly and professionally

What We're Looking For

  • Previous maintenance or handyman/handyperson experience preferred
  • A practical problem-solver with good attention to detail
  • Confident with basic tools and small repairs
  • Comfortable working independently and managing tasks without supervision
  • Friendly, approachable, and guest-focused
  • Flexible availability, including some weekends
