Job Title: Supply Chain Professional

Salary: Up to £35,000 dependent on skills and experience

What you'll be doing: 

• Providing support to the Supply Chain team where required throughout the Procurement process including sourcing and managing the supplier base utilising all the tools available e.g. Coupa.
• Arranging regular meetings and collaborating with other departments, stakeholders, and suppliers
• Supporting IPS colleagues on Supplier Management and RFQ activities where required
• Ensuring compliance with all internal and external regulatory process requirements.
• Providing commercial and supply chain support to the delivery programmes.
• Raising and approval of PO's
• Supporting production of documentation for the Supply Chain team.
• Support the development of supply chain strategies and implementation of plans.
• Co-ordination throughout the end to end procurement process such that customer and supplier issues are communicated and resolved effectively
• Report cost savings and cost avoidances

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Experience working in supply chain function
• An understanding of business and procurement approaches, techniques, processes, policy and strategy.
• Experience of contract and supplier performance management

Desirable:

• Client side experience
• Experience of working in the construction industry
• Experience in public sector/regulated environments useful
• Knowledge of JCT and NEC Construction contracts
