Job Title: Supply Chain Professional

Salary: Up to £35,000 dependent on skills and experience
What you'll be doing:
- Providing support to the Supply Chain team where required throughout the Procurement process including sourcing and managing the supplier base utilising all the tools available e.g. Coupa.
- Arranging regular meetings and collaborating with other departments, stakeholders, and suppliers
- Supporting IPS colleagues on Supplier Management and RFQ activities where required
- Ensuring compliance with all internal and external regulatory process requirements.
- Providing commercial and supply chain support to the delivery programmes.
- Raising and approval of PO's
- Supporting production of documentation for the Supply Chain team.
- Support the development of supply chain strategies and implementation of plans.
- Co-ordination throughout the end to end procurement process such that customer and supplier issues are communicated and resolved effectively
- Report cost savings and cost avoidances
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Experience working in supply chain function
- An understanding of business and procurement approaches, techniques, processes, policy and strategy.
- Experience of contract and supplier performance management
Desirable:
- Client side experience
- Experience of working in the construction industry
- Experience in public sector/regulated environments useful
- Knowledge of JCT and NEC Construction contracts
