Working at Deliciously Ella
We have around 75 team members across two sites. Our factory site near Milton Keynes produces some of our best-loved products like our energy balls, caramel cups, nut butter bites and dipped nuts.  Our Head Office is based in the heart of central London, on Tottenham Court Road, and this is where our Leadership Team work, alongside our Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing and People teams.

  • Good written and oral communication
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Time management skills
  • HACCP Level 2 (desirable)
  • Food Safety Level 2 (desirable)

Purpose of the role
  • Continuous lineside checking of product and process to ensure products manufactured are to the highest food safety and quality standards, ensuring a preventative, right first time approach.
  • Conduct and record continuous product quality and safety focused audits and implemented corrective actions.
  • Audit lineside production paperwork for on-time accuracy and completion.
  • Conduct product sampling and perform product seal and label checks, signing off when required.
  • Audit CCPs daily.
  • Participate in taste panels.
  • Manage incidents (e.g., glass breakage, metal incidents). Support wider quality team with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions where deviations have been observed to occur.
  • Conduct daily hygiene audits and ensure hygiene schedule completion.
  • Perform glass/brittle material audits.
  • Maintain communication with the team on quality issues.
  • Help a safe working environment in line with Safety, Health, and Environment policies.
  • Work with the Technical Manager to ensure relevant training is completed.
  • Promote a positive food safety and quality culture across the site.
Your team

You'll report to our Technical Manager, and will work alongside our other team of Team Leaders, to maintain standards in the factory and promote a positive, high performance culture. 

This job is Monday-Friday on the AM shift (hours include 5am-2pm, 6am-3pm and 8am-5pm)
