Here at Sheffield Hallam University we are recruiting for an Academic Tutor in Mathematics and Data Analytics.

Computing, mathematics and data analytics are disciplines that drive innovation, optimize decision-making, and enable smarter solutions across sectors.

We are seeking an outstanding multidisciplinary academic tutor with ability to leverage and teach mathematical and statistical concepts, and their importance in driving scalable analytical solutions on our UG/PG programmes.

We're really proud of our work environment, undergraduates, postgraduates, and research students work together alongside academic and support staff. The way we teach here is non-traditional, you won't be handed a menu of content to serve up to the students. Instead, we follow an applied, project-based approach to learning.

You'll spend most of your classroom time helping students work on their own projects, which are run in the same way as in the IT industry. You and your students will always be connected to what's going on in the real world.
