SolidWorks draughtsperson

The CAD Draughtsman's key duties and responsibilities will include:

• Develop sheet metal flat patterns and produce CAD-CAM programmes to feed a Laser and Punch machines using Dr Abes, Radan and Solidworks packages.
• Liaise with clients to compile drawings for their approval and ensure our product meets their requirements whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer relations.
• Provide technical help with drawing information to the shop floor to enable a high standard of results and take appropriate action to resolve problems
• Responsible for R&D and current product development (Inc. jigs, samples test pieces, etc).
• The correct candidate must be able to flourish under pressure whilst at the same time posses the ability to meet objectives and deadlines.
• Very good time keeping and reliability is essential.

We are very keen to speak to you if you have the following skills and experience:

• Proficient in SolidWorks (ideally with weldment and sheet metal experience)
• knowledge of steel fabrication and detailing standards
• understanding of tolerances, weld symbols and material specification
• Experience with CAD-CAM Programming
• Proficient in 2D drawing interpretation.

Salary Dependant On Experience

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
