We are seeking an experienced ERP NetSuite Solutions Architect to join our dynamic technology team. Reporting to the Enterprise Solutions Architect, you will act as the subject matter expert and gatekeeper for all NetSuite design decisions within Merlin's systems landscape. This pivotal role ensures that our NetSuite solutions are robust, scalable, and fully aligned with business needs, translating functional requirements into fit-for-purpose technical solutions while safeguarding system integrity and future readiness. You will shape the technical landscape, oversee integrations, and provide high-level support, playing a key role in enabling Merlin's ongoing growth and transformation.

This is a hybrid position based at our Head Office in Southwark.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the NetSuite expert and gatekeeper for all design decisions, ensuring solutions meet Merlin's strategic and operational requirements.

  • Translate complex business requirements into technical NetSuite solutions, leveraging deep knowledge of existing systems.

  • Provide critical input at design approvals and D&D governance stage gates, ensuring proposed solutions are robust, scalable, and compliant.

  • Assess and manage risks associated with changes to the NetSuite instance, maintaining system integrity and business continuity.

  • Oversee NetSuite integrations with internal and third-party systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process alignment.

  • Serve as the key knowledge resource post-implementation, providing support and guidance to business and technical teams.

  • Monitor system performance, proactively identifying optimisation opportunities and leveraging new NetSuite features.

  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure, data engineering, analytics, application development teams, business units, and external vendors to ensure alignment and delivery excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as a NetSuite Solutions Architect, ideally within large-scale transformation programmes or complex organisational environments.

  • Deep understanding of NetSuite architecture, integration patterns, middleware platforms, and governance processes.

  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into robust, fit-for-purpose technical solutions.

  • Expertise in ERP integration, API management, and data governance, with hands-on experience in REST/SOAP APIs, ETL, and SQL.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience managing internal teams and third-party vendors.

  • Strong risk management skills related to ERP systems, integrations, and change management.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, TOGAF) are advantageous.
