Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in an office environment, ensuring that all areas are clean, tidy and presentable. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
  • Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Dispose of waste and recycling materials appropriately.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
  • Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and well-organised.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any specific cleaning requests or concerns.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Previous experience in a cleaning or customer service role is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to drive is preferred for roles that may require travel between locations.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the capability to manage time efficiently.

This role requires cleaning of multiple glass windows/doors/partitions so a keen eye for detail is essential for this role.

The right candidate should be comfortable working on their own as this position is after office hours.

5pm - 8pm Monday to Friday. 15 hours per week

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.50 per hour
