Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Retail and Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support in medication administration. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy and delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to patients by answering questions and addressing concerns
  • Maintain inventory levels of medications and supplies
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
  • Adhere to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare prescription orders by retrieving, counting, pouring, weighing, and measuring medications
  • Maintain proper storage and security conditions for all medications
  • Package and label prescriptions accurately

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technician is preferred

- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication administration

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals

- Proficient computer skills for data entry and record keeping purposes

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy

- Strong ethical standards and respect for patient confidentiality

Note: All positions at our company are paid positions including internships.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
