We are seeking innovative and driven Karting Front of House Assistant to help lead Kart Silverstone, a world-class facility at one of the most prestigious motorsport venues on the planet. At the heart of Kart Silverstone is a spectacular 1.4km FIA-CIK circuit, multiple Arrive & Drive configurations, and an iconic two-storey facility complete with a stylish restaurant, roof terrace, customer-focused reception, briefing rooms and workshop. As a Karting Front of House Assistant you will help ensure that the venue operates safely and efficiently while championing customer service and experience.

PLEASE NOTE : Shortlisted candidates must be available to attend a mandatory onsite Recruitment Evening hosted by the Karting and Resourcing team. This event is scheduled for Thursday, January 8th, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

General Responsibilities

• Assist in the pre-opening phase including preparing the FOH areas, greeting and signing in guests. Feedback any comments to the FOH Manager to help develop policies and procedures.
• Support the Duty and Front of House Manager with day-to-day operations including tidying and cleaning the FOH areas completing equipment checks and setup and packing down the venue after events.
• Ensure safety standards and procedures such as issuing and fitting equipment and checking for loose items are followed throughout the FOH customer journey.
• Ensure cash handling and credit card handling procedures are followed.
• Carry out the routine activities of a FOH Assistant e.g. greeting guests, sign-on, issuing safety equipment and upselling merchandise and experience products.
• Assist the merchandise and catering teams where required.

Customer Experience

• Assist in the delivery of unforgettable experiences from arrival through to post-event feedback.
• Maintain exceptional service standards, addressing customer concerns swiftly and professionally.
• Drive upsell opportunities (such as helmet cameras and racing gloves), back-to-back opportunities and the wider Silverstone offerings (Escapade, Museum, Tours, etc)

Safety And Sustainability

• Assisting the daily inspections of the FOH areas and equipment.
• Enforce safety protocols, collaborating with internal teams to adhere to rigorous industry standards and best practices.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Exceptional customer service skills, with a passion for creating extraordinary experiences.
• Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills, thriving in high-pressure environments.
• An interest in motorsport, particularly karting, is desirable

• Dynamic, fast paced, and hands-on, with both indoor and outdoor activities
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed – we operate 364 days a year
