Job Description

This role is based in our 5 Howick Place, London office.

What we're looking for 

  • We are looking for a Video Editor to join our internal video production arm at Informa Festivals in our London office. The ideal candidate has a great sense of storytelling through moving image and experience working with templated and generated graphics 
  • The video editor will be responsible for editing a variety of scripted video productions, event coverage, and creative video projects (shot in our in-house studio) across a dynamic range of event types and industries. 

Candidates that do not provide a link to an edited showreel will not be considered. 

What you'll do 

  • Edit various types of video including interviews, series formats, online courses, sizzle reels, content optimized for social media, and event footage
  • Source stock music and stock footage when requested 
  • Create assets with After Effects to support edited footage 
  • Organize and edit footage for post-production as well as archiving 
  • Support the development of new video series for our brands, pitching ideas and researching the latest trends in video and social media 
  • Work with global brands and international teams 
Qualifications

Who you are: 

  • A creative individual who can bring ideas to the table and is aware of the latest trends 
  • Able to translate concepts and treatments into video 
  • An organized self-starter who is adept at problem-solving 
  • You have at least 1-2 years of experience editing video content in a professional environment 
  • You have strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and the workflow between them 
  • You have an awareness of sound design 
  • Experienced in managing different aspect ratios, format, codecs, outputs etc. 
  • You are interested in developing a workflow with Generative AI usage to speed up the editing process 
  • You are experienced in managing software, formats, codecs, outputs, etc.
