Working Pattern:
3 days a week (2 days in office, 1 from home) OR 22.5hours across 5 days

Are you an experienced Financial Accountant looking for your next opportunity? A leading manufacturing business in King's Lynn is seeking a Part-Time Financial Accountant to join their finance team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a site-based role with flexibility for hybrid working (up to 2 days from home), aligned to business needs. The working hours are 7.5 hours per day, with start times between 8am and 9am.

Role Details:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the day-to-day operations of the finance function. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing intercompany transactions and raising invoices
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register and capital records
  • Preparing and analysing weekly cash flow forecasts
  • Supporting year-end accounts preparation and audit processes
  • Completing month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to drive efficiency

What you'll need to succeed:
We're looking for someone who is either qualified or actively studying towards ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, with experience in financial reporting.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Experience in group reporting or from a practice background
  • Previous exposure to a manufacturing environment
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills across finance and non-finance teams
  • A solid understanding of accounting systems and principles
