Job Title: Customer Support Advisor / Receptionist (Maternity Cover)
Location: St Columb Road, near Indian Queens, Mid Cornwall
Rate: £12.50 per hour
Hours: Approx. 26 hours per week
Monday 9.00am–4.30pm, Tuesday 8.30am–2.30pm, Wednesday 8.30am–4.30pm, Thursday 9.00am–4.30pm. No weekends.

We're a well-established, family-run window and door company based in Mid Cornwall. Known for our high standards, friendly team and strong local reputation, we've been serving customers across the county for nearly 40 years. We work from a modern office in a relaxed but professional environment, and we care about doing things properly for both our customers and our staff.
The Role:
We're looking for a friendly, well-organised person to join our front-of-house and customer support team to cover maternity leave. You'll be one of the main points of contact for customers, handling calls and emails, keeping things moving, and supporting customers from their first enquiry through to completion.
Some part-time training will be required during November ahead of the maternity cover starting in early December. The cover is expected to last 9–12 months.
What you'll be doing:
- Answering phone calls and responding to customer emails
- Keeping customers informed throughout their project
- Issuing completion packs, certificates and guarantees
- Helping with invoices and payments
- General admin tasks to support the team
About You:
- Confident, friendly and well-organised
- A clear communicator who enjoys being part of a team
- Comfortable using email, phones and basic systems
- Previous admin or customer service experience is helpful, but not essential
What We Offer:
- £12.50 per hour
- 9–12 month maternity cover, approx. 26 hours per week
- A supportive and experienced team to work with
- Full training provided before the role begins
- No weekend or bank holiday working
