Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Artisan to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a keen eye for detail and a dedication to culinary excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft high-quality food items in a dynamic environment, contributing to the creation of exceptional dining experiences for our customers.

Duties

  • Prepare and produce a variety of food items, including baked goods, savoury dishes, and specialised culinary creations
  • Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all stages of food preparation
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste
  • Ensure all food presentation meets brand standards, maintaining visual appeal
  • Support the training of junior staff or apprentices as required

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food production, cooking, or baking within a professional kitchen environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and practices
  • Experience in food preparation and culinary techniques, including baking and general kitchen skills
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations and customer service standards is desirable
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential
