Orbit Workforce Solutions Ltd is recruiting multiple Fire Stoppers to join an ongoing project in Crawley

Job Description

• Install and maintain firestop systems using materials such as intumescent mastics, fire-rated boards, sealants, and fire curtains in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Inspect and assess existing firestop installations for compliance, integrity, and effectiveness in preventing fire and smoke spread.
• Fabricate, prepare, and apply firestopping materials as required for various construction applications.
• Safely and efficiently operate hand tools, power tools, and cutting tools during installation and fabrication.
• Conduct regular inspections of work areas and completed installations to ensure adherence to safety protocols and fire safety standards.
• Document installation procedures, maintain accurate records of materials used, and report on work completed.

Requirements:

• Blue CSCS Card (Mandatory)
• NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection
• Must have IPAF
• Proven experience in fire stopping, including batt & mastics, penetration sealing, and related tasks
• Own tools and PPE
