About the Role:

The Deputy Production Manager (DPM) supports the Production Manager in leading and developing a high-performing production team within our Croydon site. You will play a key role in ensuring performance, quality, and safety targets are consistently achieved, whilst promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and control all production activities within the allocated area of responsibility.
  • Lead, support, and develop the production team to achieve daily performance KPIs.
  • Manage labour, materials, and resources in line with the production schedule.
  • Support continuous improvement, problem-solving, and process optimisation.
  • Work closely with all manufacturing departments to maximise output and efficiency.
  • Ensure good housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and compliance with safety standards.

What you'll need:

  • A relevant technical degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving ability and a proactive approach.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques.
  • Understanding of OHSE standards and safe working practices.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems.
