The London Diocesan Fund (LDF) is seeking a Mission Projects Manager to play a key role within the 2030 Vision Programme Management Team, supporting mission development and strategic change across the Diocese of London
Job Summary
This role supports the implementation of the Diocesan 2030 Vision by managing mission-focused projects of varied size and scope across the Episcopal Areas. You will gather and analyse data, facilitate collaboration between diocesan teams, and help bring about missional growth at parish and area level. The role requires strong communication, organisation, and project management capability, combined with an understanding of church life and Christian mission.
Job Responsibilities
Mission Development
- Work closely with Area Mission Teams, including Deans of Mission, Archdeacons, and project leads, to support delivery of local mission plans.
- Manage a portfolio of mission-focused projects, tracking plans, coordinating meetings, and ensuring actions are progressed.
- Support and manage bespoke short- to medium-term Area-specific mission initiatives.
- Source, analyse and interpret data to inform Area plans, assess progress, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Participate in Area project meetings, DoM group meetings, and Ambition & Priority Leads meetings.
- Work with Ambition and Priority Leads to embed the 2030 Vision priorities—Confident Disciples, Compassionate Communities, Creative Growth—into Area mission planning.
- Support and contribute to missional funding bids, including gathering impact data.

Person Specification
Essential
- A team player with experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Proven ability to handle project work, plan effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Experience supporting the delivery of strategic change.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Good data handling and presentation skills.
- IT literate (especially Microsoft Office).
- Able to understand the diversity of parish traditions across the Diocese.
- Fully committed to the Diocesan 2030 Vision.
- A practising Christian (any denomination).
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Experience facilitating workshops or leading meetings.
- Experience of operational church life, ideally church planting and/or growth.
