Job Description
  • Job Title: Graduate Laboratory Technician 
  • Job Type: Permanent 
  • Days and Hours: Monday- Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm 
  • Location: Ellesmere Port 
  • Salary: £25,400
  • Industry: Oil and Gas

We are looking for a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our team in the oil and gas sector. This role involves conducting essential testing and analysis to support operations, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and non-routine laboratory testing on oil, gas, and related products.
  • Accurately record, analyse, and validate test results.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments to ensure reliability and compliance.
  • Follow Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and safety procedures at all times.
  • Work as part of a team to meet deadlines and support operational goals.
Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline.
  • No prior industry laboratory experience required (Full training will be provided.)
  • Strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical thinking skills.
  • A proactive team player with excellent organisational and communication abilities.
  • A full UK driving licence.
