Your New Company:

We are a well established commercial electrical contractor specialising in the warehousing and the self-storage sector and are currently looking to recruit a Working Site Supervisor . The existing team provides expert electrical installation services for commercial and industrial projects throughout London and Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, experienced, and innovative company working with a number of loyal clients, that is committed to developing and expanding an already strong team.

Your New Role:

We are looking for a qualified, experienced, energetic, knowledgeable, hardworking and dedicated Electrical Site Supervisor, who is happy both on and off the tools, with a minimum of ten years' experience to lead and work with our teams on our commercial installations and maintaining our existing systems. You will have the opportunity to work on projects ranging from 50K to 1.5m from inception to completion.

You will install, service and maintain electrical systems in accordance with the current Edition of The IET Wiring Regulations. Your role will involve installing cable tray, cables, wiring, lighting systems, control panels and circuit boards, troubleshooting electrical issues and performing necessary repairs. We install solar PV, access control systems, fire and security systems so experience of these would be beneficial.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Install, service and maintain electrical systems within a fast pace environment
  • Self-manage projects and report back to line management
  • Lead and work alongside fellow JR Revell team members on projects, including temporary labour
  • Effective communication between colleagues and clients
  • Perform site visits to ensure compliance with required permits and standards
  • Work to a high health and safety standard, always adhering to safety protocols and regulations
  • Provide technical support to our customers
  • Provide quality control on all aspects of jobs undertaken
  • Test electrical systems for functionality and safety

What you need to succeed:

  • A minimum of six years working as a qualified electrician
  • Supervisory experience as Team Leader / NICEIC Qualified Supervisor
  • NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations
  • City and Guilds level 3, th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
  • City and Guilds level 3, 2391 Inspection and Testing (desirable)
  • Possess a full, clean, valid UK driving license
  • Current ECS gold card
  • The ability to prioritise work and work to deadlines
  • A positive attitude and self-motivation is a must
  • Clean and tidy appearance
  • Proactive approach on working within our team and business
  • Computer literate
  • Flexibility to occasionally work away from home/ late nights/ weekends to achieve deadlines
