The opportunity

A well-established technology team is seeking a .NET Developer to build and enhance cloud-hosted applications used by enterprise customers. The successful candidate will contribute across the stack, from ASP.NET Core front ends to EF Core and Azure-hosted services, and will ship via modern CI/CD pipelines.

What the role involves

• Delivering robust, performant features in
  C# / .NET 6–8
  , meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
• Building web UIs with
  ASP.NET Core
  (MVC, Razor Pages, or Blazor) and refining with
  JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS/LESS
  .
• Designing and implementing data access with
  EF Core (code-first)
  ; writing pragmatic SQL where needed.
• Creating and maintaining
  unit tests
  (xUnit) and contributing to high-quality, repeatable releases through
  Azure DevOps pipelines
  .
• Collaborating with product, delivery, and QA; estimating accurately, communicating risks early, and supporting production issues when required.

What they're looking for (essentials)

• Commercial experience with
  C# / .NET (6–8)
  delivering production systems.
• Strong
  ASP.NET Core
  skills (one or more of MVC / Razor Pages / Blazor).
• Proficiency with
  EF Core (code-first)
  and relational design; sound SQL fundamentals.
• Testing mindset
  (xUnit or similar) and familiarity with CI/CD in
  Azure DevOps
  .
• Comfortable owning features end-to-end and collaborating in Agile teams.

Nice to have

• Azure PaaS (App Service, Azure SQL, Storage, Key Vault).
• Front-end build tools (
  Node, npm, gulp, LESS
  ) and UI polish with
  jQuery/Bootstrap
  .
• DevExpress components; performance tuning (EF/SQL); experience supporting live systems.
