Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our Sub Contract Precision Engineering Firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to create precise programmes for CNC machines. This role requires proficiency in CAD software (solidcam /Solidworks) and a solid understanding of milling and turning processes The CNC Programmer will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our production processes.

Duties

  • Develop and optimise CNC programmes for various machining operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • interpret technical drawings and specifications using SolidWorks and CAD software.
  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines, ensuring proper tooling and materials handling.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.

  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in CNC programming, Fanuc, Siemens, mazatrol
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various materials.

  • Proficient in SolidWorks, CAD, and other relevant design software..
