Female Only Waking Nights Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female-Only Support Worker to provide overnight care and support to a young lady in her own home. This role involves working waking night shifts to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of the person being supported throughout the night.
Whilst fully embracing the company ethos support workers provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone's individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they want to live.
Support is required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Personal care worker for women required. This post is only available to female applicants as permitted under the Equality Act 2010.
Job title: Female Only Support Worker
Hours: 33 hours per week

Shifts: Nights
WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide continuous overnight supervision and support (wake and watch nights).
- Monitor and respond to oxygen therapy needs.
- Observe and manage epilepsy, including seizure monitoring and appropriate interventions.
- Administer PEG feeds in accordance with care plans and clinical guidance.
- Assist with regular turns to maintain comfort and prevent pressure injuries.
- Deliver personal care with dignity and respect, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Manage catheter care, ensuring hygiene and proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the wider care team.
- Promote a safe, calm, and supportive environment tailored to individual needs.
About you
- Previous experience in a similar role or with complex care needs is desirable.
- Knowledge of epilepsy, PEG feeding, catheter care, and oxygen therapy.
- Ability to work independently and remain alert throughout night shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
