We seek to appoint a Laboratory Technician with particular responsibilities to the chemistry department working alongside other Science staff and assisting school support staff at times of high demand.

The Chemistry Department is part of a large and successful science department. At present, the department consists of 4 dedicated laboratories and a central prep room facility shared by the chemistry staff.

At GCSE, students either choose separate science or combined science in Year 10.

At A level, there are 3 groups in Year 12 and 3 groups in Year 13.

The Science Department has 14 members of staff and 3 technicians, one in biology, 1 in chemistry and 1 in physics.
