Red Nucleus is expanding the Advisory practice and is hiring a Managing Director, Medical Affairs Consulting.  This role can be remote based in the US, Canada, or the UK. and is a sales and delivery role.

SUMMARY/POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Strategic Management Consultant to join our team, focusing on growing strategy consulting services for Medical Affairs In this role, you will showcase your experience as a thought leader and trusted advisor to the life sciences industry. As a senior leader in the advisory team, the Managing Director achieves success by designing novel and innovative solutions for clients, securing profitable business through sourcing, selling, and leading projects, and contributing to firm growth and development. The Managing Director will contribute to setting business direction and strategy, thought leadership, and the overall growth and scalability of the advisory business.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Ownership and Growth

  • Lead as a trusted advisor for; cultivate a strong understanding of clients' needs, translating these into bespoke service offerings
  • Oversee the design, development and implementation of solutions to drive success on every engagement for the client
  • Source from their own network, secure and lead a $3 million annual book of business; develop comprehensive to achieve and exceed revenue targets, deliver compelling pitches, and lead contract negotiations to secure business deals
  • Generate thought leadership to capitalize on industry trends and develop innovative solutions and capabilities

Team Leadership

  • Serve as the steward of team and company culture; foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and growth
  • Develop and maintain a high performing global team, above and beyond individual contributions of sales and book of business.
  • Lead and develop multiple delivery teams across various accounts to successfully deliver projects with "right first time" quality
  • Lead firm-building initiatives, individual and team development, and annual strategic business planning activities
  • Collaborate in the continued growth and development of Red Nucleus

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in the life sciences or business-related fields; Advanced degree in the Life Sciences, and/or MBA preferred.

Experience:

· years in management consulting, advisory and/or strategy and change management specifically for Life Sciences

·       A strong history of successfully selling, delivering and growing consulting revenues with a track record of sourced sales exceeding at least $3 million in the previous 2-3 years

·       Demonstrated experience and expertise in Medical Affairs and Strategy

Skills:

·       Executive presence

·       Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, both verbal and written

·       Ability to leverage external network to improve market positioning

·       Identify and pursue new business development opportunities

·       Ability to lead client work and accounts

·       Ability to attract, retain, mentor and grow team members

·       Ability to become a trusted partner to all levels of clients (from Director to c-suite)

·       Must have a collaborative and team-based mind-set

·       Proficiency in CRM software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite, (demonstrated expertise in Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

·       Must have the ability to manage work-life balance for oneself and be able to mentor team accordingly for themselves.

Must be capable of leading complex engagements with superior practice-build and client relationship management skills
