Spire Methley Park have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our bank team. This role will support our Physiotherapy department on a adhoc basis to support the needs of the department, this will also provide a work/life balance for the right person. 

Must have relevant orthopaedic experience and be able to work independently.

Spire Methley Park Hospital situated in Methley in South Leeds, has recently completed a 7.6 million refurbishment, which included a new theatre equipped with cutting-edge technology enabling us to carry out complex surgery across a variety of clinical specialties. At Spire Methley Park Hospital caring for our patients is at the heart of what we do. We provide expert medical care in our modern, well-equipped hospital for all of our patients.

Duties and responsibilities;

  • To provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice to patients within the inpatient and outpatient department.
  • To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner
  • To provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, treatment and caseload management
  • Significant experience in physiotherapy delivery and working as a multidisciplinary team

Who we're looking for

  • Degree (BSc Hons in Physiotherapy) or equivalent
  • At least 3 years' post graduate clinical experience within Orthopaedics and Surgery  
  • Flexibility to cover different areas on a rotational basis 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Experience of assessing, diagnosing and treating a range of patients/cases
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills are key to continue our high standards of patient care
