About your role:
We're looking for a Fleet Vehicle Technician & Driver to ensure our college vehicles are safe, clean, and ready for use. You'll play a key role in transporting students for educational visits, maintaining our fleet, and carrying out minor repairs. This is a hands-on role that combines driving duties with practical maintenance tasks.
What you'll do
Drive college vehicles for educational visits and other transport needsCarry out daily and monthly vehicle checks, reporting faults promptlyEnsure vehicles are clean, tidy, and well-presented at all timesComplete minor mechanical repairs within your qualifications and experienceMaintain stock of oils, fluids, and spare partsCheck compliance items such as road tax, permits, and first aid kitsAdhere to all legislation, including driver's hours and Tachograph rules What we're looking for
Essential:
Full UK Driving Licence with Business InsuranceGood practical skills in vehicle maintenanceStrong communication and people skillsAbility to work under pressure and with attention to detailPrevious customer care experienceKnowledge of Health & Safety practices Desirable:
