What You Will Enjoy Doing

  • A Maintenance Technician, is required to work as part of a team on a double day shift pattern, to provide both Reactive and PPM maintenance
  • Lead the maintenance and repair of pumps, pipework, valves, and other mechanical systems critical to our thermal spray operations
  • You will carry out fabrication and fitting tasks including welding, bracketry, and bespoke mechanical setups
  • Support with electrical troubleshooting on machinery and assist with minor panel and control work
  • Maintain a strong safety-first mindset, ensuring compliance with procedures and proactively identifying risks
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns and keep equipment running efficiently through planned and preventative maintenance utilizing company maintenance software
  • Also, you will contribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring faults and recommending robust fixes

What Makes You Great

  • To succeed in this position you will have a mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience in an industrial setting
  • You have a strong mechanical skillset e.g. pumps, pipework, plumbing, welding, and fabrication
  • You have good electrical knowledge e.g. able to fault-find, isolate safely, and support minor electrical repairs
  • You are comfortable working with high-pressure systems and safety-critical equipment (e.g., compressed gases, thermal spray booths)
  • Experience with planned and reactive maintenance in a manufacturing or process environment is desirable
  • You will ideally be from a manufacturing, process, or engineering background (thermal spray, coatings, or chemical process would be a bonus)
