Your new role

Seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to work within the Engineering and Operation Team. You will be responsible for BAU support of all aspects of the company's server and virtual infrastructure with an emphasis on AD, Exchange on prem 2016/2019, Citrix, ESX & VMWare hypervisors and Windows server issues.

The successful candidate will possess a proven background in advanced trouble shooting and resolution of operational issues and root cause analysis.

They will be expected to configure and maintain all supported Wintel technology stacks. Wintel infrastructure responsibilities covers all levels of server O/S, Citrix XenApp/Virtual Apps and Desktop, Netscaler, MS SCCM, Acitve Directory, messaging technologies (including Exchange Online Hybrid 2016/2019), PKI, VMware ESX 8 and HP hardware support.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven background in enterprise/ professional IT environments as an Infrastructure/ Wintel Engineer
    with deep expertise in Windows platforms and services, including Active Directory (AD), DHCP, DNS, PKI, Group Policy (GPO), and Distributed File System (DFS).
  • Windows Server Expertise:
    Skilled in building, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server environments, including clustering, AD & GPO management, DNS, DHCP, and PKI.
  • Scripting & Automation:
    Strong proficiency in Windows scripting, particularly PowerShell for automation and system management tasks.
  • Citrix Technologies:
    Demonstrated expertise in Citrix environments, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Microsoft Exchange:
    Hands-on experience with Exchange Server 2016 and 2019, including end-of-life (EOL) management and migration planning.
  • Infrastructure Monitoring:
    Proven ability to implement and manage effective monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance.
  • Active Directory
    : Solid experience managing Active Directory in a business-as-usual (BAU) capacity, including user and group administration, permissions, and policy enforcement.
  • IT Security Knowledge:
    Strong understanding of IT security principles and technologies, including experience with tools such as CyberArk and other security solutions.
  • ITIL Framework:
    Good working knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Virtualization Platforms:
    Great experience with VMware.
  • Microsoft 365 & SharePoint:
    Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint/ MS 365 platforms, including administration and user support.
