What You'll Do
The Alumni & Career Services (A&CS) function at BCG empowers our people beyond their BCG journey and unlocks long-term value for BCG by delivering world-class support to graduating talents and fostering meaningful lifelong connections with alumni. We aim to build the most trusted and impactful alumni and talent ecosystem in the industry, that will strengthen affiliation, fuel careers, and drive lasting advocacy and value for the BCG community.
As part of the Global A&CS Center of Excellence, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the Experience for both graduates and alumni with the refreshed Career Services offering. You will focus on the strategic planning and close coordination of change initiatives to develop and implement a scalable, integrated A&CS offering to embed a consistent, high-quality experience from graduations to being a connected alumni throughout the employee lifecycle.
You will partner with Alumni & Career Services stakeholders across regions and Specialty Business Units (SBUs) to design, embed, and scale the career services offerings across BCG. You will play a pivotal role in translating strategic initiatives into clear roadmaps, practical toolkits, and collaborative ways of working to ensure the timely and impactful delivery of the A&CS Experience vision.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Strategy and operating model: Co-own and evolve the global Career Services and Alumni operating model with the leader of Career Services and Alumni Experience Leader and wider global team.
- Customer-centric journey design: Co-develop and evolve the key customer journeys for graduating talent, including but not limited to i) handoffs across moments that matter (pre-graduation conversations, graduation farewells, and alumni placements) that are aligned with People frameworks and Alumni offerings, and ii) a structural placement capability with tailored career support for senior graduates and alumni
- Scaling and enablement: Partner with regional, SBU leaders to roll out and scale the offering, adapting to local market considerations. Support and oversee pilots / POCs.
- Cross-functional change management: Co-lead stakeholder engagements and alignment across BCG People teams such as Career Development, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, as well as Marketing, Finance etc. to deliver a seamless journey that is cohesive across customer touchpoints
- Rigorous data management and insights: Leverage data to track and report progress made against targets. Partner with A&CS Product/Tech team to translate Experience business needs into product and data requirements
- Apprenticeship and people development: Manage and coach a Career Services Experience Specialist as direct report. Co-develop clear developmental goals and provide frequent, iterative feedback on deliverables, and drive performance reviews and coverage continuity

YOU'RE GOOD AT
- Forging new ideas with understanding of the evolution of BCG's strategic Alumni Relations to build on a Career Services roadmap that encompasses knowledge and strategy from both pillars and bringing them into one common direction of travel
- Championing an alumni-centric approach; everything you think, do, and change would put alumni in the target audience for the delivering the best experience, while supporting BCG's goals
- Building relationships and collaborating cross-functionally with a clear, open communication style
- Organizing and delivering results against complex initiatives in a matrix-structured organization with an eye for simplicity
- Storytelling and structured communication, synthesizing complexity into simple but powerful narratives and insights that influence decisions
- Being a proactive team player: taking ownership, anticipating needs, and supporting others with a low-ego, high-trust approach
- Able to juggle multiple priorities with strong organization and time management; staying calm and focused under pressure
- High standards of integrity, maturity, and ability to handle situations with discretion and tact to foster greater trust and effective teaming
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred
- 3~5 years' experience in management consulting/client-facing professional services (preferred), or in HR, career services, talent management, alumni relations
- Proven experience in change management and strategy execution
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and deliver results in global, matrixed environments
- Comfortable ability to work with data and analytics (e.g., CRM, dashboards) and experience collaborating with product/tech teams a plus
- Experience and passion in people topics is a plus
