We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Asia.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-growth cybersecurity company and play a critical role in shaping our customer and partner relationships across the region. You'll be instrumental in supporting strategic opportunities, designing impactful solutions, and acting as a trusted technical advisor to both customers and channel partners.

About the Team
Rapid7's Sales Engineering team works hand-in-hand with our Account Executives and channel partners to understand customer needs, design tailored cybersecurity solutions, and drive successful sales cycles.
As part of a close-knit and highly collaborative team in Asia, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact, contribute to regional growth, and bring cybersecurity innovation to life for our customers.
About the Role
As a Senior Sales Engineer, you'll be a trusted technical expert supporting our sales efforts from initial engagement through to proof-of-concept and implementation. You'll lead product demonstrations, shape solution architectures, and help customers understand how Rapid7's Insight Platform can solve their most pressing security challenges.
You'll also partner with our channel team and local distributors to provide technical enablement, support go-to-market initiatives, and contribute to regional market development efforts.
Specifically, your focus will be to:
Work closely with Account Executives to qualify opportunities, understand customer requirements, and design effective cybersecurity solutions.
Deliver compelling in-person and remote product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concepts tailored to each customer.
Act as a trusted advisor to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, helping them understand the value of Rapid7's solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction throughout the pre-sales process.
Partner with channel teams to provide technical training and support to drive partner-led opportunities.
Contribute to events, industry roundtables, and local marketing efforts as a thought leader and Rapid7 evangelist.
Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on customer and market insights.
The skills and qualities you'll bring include:
A passion for solving technical problems and helping customers succeed.
Strong technical knowledge in security solutions and operating systems.
Experience engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences, including C-level stakeholders.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (other languages a plus).
Ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward with enthusiasm and proactivity.
An understanding of the sales process and ability to support sales teams in achieving success.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) and network security concepts is highly desirable.
Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus.
