Kingston upon Thames, Greater London, United Kingdom MOTORS Full time £60,000 - £80,000 per year

MOTORS
is the ultimate destination for car enthusiasts and buyers alike As a leader in the market, we pride ourselves on providing unparalleled search tools, expert car guides, insightful reviews, and a comprehensive vehicle price guide. Our mission is simple: to empower buyers to find their perfect car efficiently and with confidence, while also helping automotive retailers reach millions of eager buyers.

Our innovative advertising opportunities not only elevate our platform but also extend across a vast dealer advertising ecosystem, including automotive giants like eBay and Gumtree.

As Senior Product Analyst, you'll own how we measure success, shape the frameworks that guide product decisions, and lead others to embed data-driven thinking across our product teams.

You'll move seamlessly from strategic thinking to hands-on delivery; defining scalable frameworks to drive experimentation maturity and product measurement, partnering with senior stakeholders to turn insight into meaningful business impact, and coaching others to raise the bar on how we use data to learn fast and scale what works.

You'll be a trusted partner to Product, Engineering, and Marketing - influencing decisions through clarity, storytelling, and commercial insight.

Reports To:

Permanent

Location:
Richmond UK, Hybrid

What you'll own:

  • Own and define the development of core product metrics, KPIs, and success measurement frameworks - ensuring alignment with OKRs and business outcomes.
  • Build and maintain scalable dashboards, reporting, and experimentation frameworks to provide clear, real-time visualisation for internal stakeholders.
  • Lead and influence post-launch reviews of product initiatives, delivering actionable recommendations and identifying opportunities for iteration and optimisation.
  • Analyse product performance (engagement, conversion, retention, funnel drop-offs) to identify behavioural patterns, pain points and opportunities.
  • Apply advanced analytical methods - cohort, funnel, and churn modelling - to guide strategic roadmap and prioritisation decisions.
  • Run and interpret ad-hoc analyses to support hypothesis testing, product discovery, and experimentation outcomes.
  • Use tools such as Hotjar, GA, Looker, and SQLto translate data into clear, persuasive stories that influence product and leadership decisions.
  • Define and own our data taxonomy and event tracking standards, ensuring consistency, reliability, and scalability across products. Identify and close gaps in our data maturity - designing solutions that improve data quality, accessibility, and speed to insight.
  • Shape discovery processes with Product Managers to validate hypotheses, size opportunities, and measure the impact of new initiatives. Influence strategic trade-offs through analytical rigour and data-driven storytelling, ensuring focus on what drives the biggest outcomes.
  • Translate complex data into simple, actionable insights that shape product, commercial, and customer strategies.
  • Champion a data-driven culture across Product and the wider business - embedding curiosity, rigour, and evidence-based decision making.
  • Enable and coach non-technical stakeholders through self-serve analytics, empowering them to confidently use data in their day-to-day decisions.
  • Mentor colleagues across teams to elevate analytical capability and foster shared accountability for product impact.

What you'll bring:

  • Experienced Product Analyst with proven ability to influence strategy and decision making through data.
  • Deep understanding of product metrics, experimentation design and statistical analysis.

  • Ability to build scalable reporting, experimentation, and data-visualisation frameworks to provide clear, real-time insights for stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills - you can communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Natural storyteller - able to turn data into narratives that engage, influence and drive action.
  • Confident operating autonomously in a scaling environment, balancing detail with commercial context.
  • Passionate about coaching/mentoring others and embedding best practice analytics principles.
