*Job Requirements
Key responsibilities:*

  • Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work breakdown structure, budget, and timing for new initiatives
  • Manage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
  • Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
  • Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders
  • Managing the program's budget; Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements; Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies; Managing and utilizing resources across projects;
  • Managing stakeholders' communication; Aligning the deliverables (outputs) to the program's "outcome" with the aid of the business change manager; and Managing the main program documentations such as the program initiation document.
  • Champion innovative approaches that could delivery productivity savings and/or competitive advantage

*Work Experience*
The program manager must have strong practical experience in project management, which was gained through managing large and complex projects. He or she must have the following:

  • Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques;
  • Good understanding of the wider objectives of the program within Aeroengines industry;
  • Ability to work proactively with the wide range of individuals involved in program management;
  • Strong leadership and management skills;
  • Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures; and
  • The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems

*Work Experience*
Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business
  • 10+ years in a programme management role (preference given to those with PMP or equivalent certification) within Aerospace industry
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of implementation on new technology
  • Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
