As a non-executive member of the Board, you will be expected to play a central role in ensuring the efficient, effective and accountable governance of the organisation including participation in its governance committees. You will be offered the training you need to make a strong contribution.

- Ability to challenge and influence effectively in a complex environment at a senior leadership level
- Analysis and decision making skills
- Written and oral communication skills
- Appreciation of NHS Scotland's shared values

Remuneration and Time Commitment
£16,224 (non-pensionable) per annum for a time commitment of one day per week (52 days per year). This commitment will vary week to week but you must be able to make a firm commitment to spend 52 days of the year on Board business. Reasonable expenses incurred will be reimbursed.
