Do you want to build unique competencies and a rewarding career in one of the
fastest growing M&A advisories in Europe?
BearingPoint Capital is seeking Analysts to join our global M&A team in London, specifically within our Technology Due Diligence service.
As part of BearingPoint Capital, you will have the opportunity to fast-track your career in a start-up-like environment within a large organisation, gaining competencies and skills through a wide variety of challenging M&A projects for top-tier clients. Our client base is rapidly expanding and includes Private Equity firms, family offices, corporates, and strategic investors.
Our M&A service offerings are designed for companies where technology is central to the business strategy and investment thesis. You will join a highly skilled and driven team working on both local and international engagements. We are looking for high-performing candidates with a passion for technology to support our clients in technology due diligence and tech-enabled M&A advisory,
distinct from corporate finance or valuation work
.
This role is for an immediate start pending any notice periods with current employers. We will run a separate application process for the class of 2026.
About BearingPoint Capital
BearingPoint Capital is a business unit part of the global management consultancy BearingPoint. Capital is a smaller, global team that delivers M&A advisory services on both the sell-side and buy-side in transactions. Our service offerings include M&A strategy consulting, commercial and technological due diligence. In addition to M&A advisory, Capital is responsible for managing BearingPoint's own corporate portfolio, as well as our investments in Ventures.
BearingPoint Capital draws on BearingPoint's global consultancy network – with more than 6,500 employees helping leading companies in more than 75 countries achieve measurable and lasting success.
Your Primary Tasks Will Include
- Technology Due Diligence Support: Assist in the execution of buy- and sell-side technology due diligence engagements. This includes gathering and analysing data on IT strategy, architecture, infrastructure, and organisational capabilities to support senior team members.
- Product Due Diligence: Support the assessment of product strategy, roadmap, and functional/ feature differentiation as part of broader due diligence engagements, helping clients understand product maturity (versus competitors) and alignment with business goals.
- Technical Execution: Contribute to the preparation of client-ready materials such as management presentations, one-pagers, and technology assessments. Support the analysis of KPIs, customer data, and operational metrics to generate meaningful insights.
- Process Coordination: Help prepare virtual data rooms, track deliverables across workstreams (e.g. legal, financial, tax, commercial), and maintain tight turnaround on materials and information requests during the deal process.
- Client Engagement Preparation: Support the preparation of pitches, RFPs, and presentation materials. Participate in client meetings by taking notes and assisting with delivery, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Tool & Platform Fluency: Use tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, CapIQ, PitchBook, and virtual data room platforms (e.g. Intralinks, Datasite) to support diligence coordination and process tracking.
- Practice Development: Contribute to local and global practice development activities, including refining methodologies and tools. Support business development efforts by preparing proposals and participating in strategic planning.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices. Pursue relevant certifications and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative team environment by supporting peers, sharing knowledge, and participating in team-building activities.

- Foundational understanding of IT concepts including software architecture, infrastructure, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a structured approach to work
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and collaborating with senior stakeholders
