We are now looking for a reliable, hardworking Bank Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen team on a flexible, as-needed basis. If you have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude, this is a great opportunity to contribute to a caring environment and be part of a supportive team.

What We Offer

  • £12.61 per hour
  • Flexible zero-hours contract
  • Paid PVG, pension, free uniform, and onsite parking
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time equivalent)

What You Will Do

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the Chef and wider kitchen team in preparing and serving meals that meet the needs and preferences of our residents. You will be responsible for general kitchen duties such as basic food preparation, setting up and clearing down dining areas, washing dishes, and keeping the kitchen clean and organised. You will follow food hygiene standards and ensure that the kitchen environment is safe, tidy, and fully stocked. Your role is essential in helping us provide a positive and enjoyable dining experience for everyone in our care.

What We Are Looking For

  • A friendly, reliable, and team-focused attitude
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • An understanding of food hygiene and safety (training can be provided)
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or care setting is desirable but not essential
