About the Role and our Ideal Candidate

The role reports directly to Kingston Adult Education's MIS & Compliance Manager, and is responsible for working with the management information systems for adult education.

  • Collate, analyse and complete data uploads from the Management Information System (MIS) to the relevant funding agencies.
  • Monitor and maintain a high standard of data management and follow procedures in accordance with funding agencies, awarding bodies and Ofsted.
  • Support the MIS & Compliance Manager in planning and implementing appropriate systems for the enrolment of learners.
  • Ensure knowledge is up to date for funding rules and regulations including but not limited to eligibility rules, data entry rules, data deadlines and validation reports.

The requirements of this post may require coverage in the evenings and could include attending meetings and other events outside normal hours. The postholder will need to manage their work life balance flexibly to meet the needs of the role.

About You

In order to successfully deliver the responsibilities of the role, you will need to:

  • Have or be working towards a level 3 for IT
  • Have experience of working with management information systems
  • Question and challenge ways of working, with an understanding of the bigger picture in terms of the corporate context and external environment
  • Demonstrate agility and adaptability in mindset and ways of working
  • Work successfully with key stakeholders within and outside of the Council
