Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to materials management, stocking, and shipping. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Training will be provided if necessary.
  • Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track stock levels and movements.
  • Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
  • Perform picking and packing of orders accurately to meet shipping deadlines.
  • Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy.

Experience

  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with materials handling techniques is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
