Job Summary

Join the dynamic crew at German Doner Kebab (GDK) Bournemouth, where we're serving up gourmet kebabs with a modern twist. We're looking for energetic, customer-focused individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and love being part of a team that delivers exceptional food and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve high-quality doner kebabs and other menu items to GDK standards
  • Deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly, professional attitude
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the restaurant
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assist with stock management and daily prep tasks
  • Follow all food safety and health & safety procedures
  • Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment

Desired Experience & Skills

  • Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is advantageous.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders are required.
  • Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.
  • A strong understanding of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards.
  • Time management skills are crucial for balancing multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
