Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Redruth and Camborne. In this role, you will provide care in client's own home . Your primary focus will be on assisting individuals with their daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans meticulously.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support individuals in daily living activities such as meal preparation and medication management.
  • Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals and monitor patient progress.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
  • Ensure a clean and safe living space for clients by adhering to hygiene protocols.
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver comprehensive care.

Skills

  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written, for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is essential.
  • Experience in domiciliary care settings is preferred
  • Basic IT skills for maintaining client records and communicating with the healthcare team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • Driver's license and access to vehicle is essential.
